The Maxum Z air cleaners are especially useful for those who suffer from asthma or other lung related illness because there is no electronic ozone emissions that may add additional irritation to those with ultra sensitive airways.
 
The Maxum Z contains a revolutionary filter that has electrostatically charged synthetic media which offers higher particulate efficiency performance than regular poly/cotton media filters. The Maxum Z filter achieves a MERV8 (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) rating per the ASHRAE Standard 52.2P test method. This high performance filter is impervious to moisture and will not support microbial growth.
 
Electrostatically charged filter is 98% efficient on particulate as small as 05.0 microns in size.
The two speed fan provides up to210 cfm (cubic feet per minute) of pure air on low speed and 275 cfm on high speed
The MaxumZ operates whisper quiet.
The MaxumZ will clean a 20' x 20' room over 5 air changes per hour
