Commonly referred to as "whole house systems", our in-duct units are ideal for residential forced air systems. Models LAD-1814 and LAD-2214 are designed to complement both newer high efficiency systems as well as existing equipment. Easily mounted in a variety of systems, LAD units operate on less power than a 60 watt light bulb and provide protection for costly equipment and, more importantly, your breathing air. The low pressure drop through the filter means less airflow reduction than most media filters with higher efficiency and therefore, better airflow through your home, eliminating hot / cold spots. The rugged construction of LAD models, like the entire LakeAir line, assures you of peak performance year after year.
Optional airflow switch has a sensitive calibration that activates with very little negative pressure.
